On Tuesday May 2nd, our team had the pleasure of once again working with Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archives (BAMPFA) to celebrate their annual Gala. This years 400 guests got in the spirit of the Summer of Love, which served as the Gala’s theme and influenced the attendees attire. The night started with guests enjoying cocktails and art during a reception at BAMPFA. Everyone then participated in our “Hippie Parade” to Berkeley Theatre where the Gala was being held. The parade was equipped with entertainment at every corner, the Bubble Man, stilt walkers, and much more. Guests also had the option to hop in a VW bus from the 70’s decked out in “hippie” themed decorations. Once guests arrived at the theatre, they enjoyed a dinner catered by Paula Le Duc, a live auction hosted by Alexander Berggruen, and a fund-a-need to benefit BAMPFA’s student internship program. Entertainment included Pete Sears, Country Joe McDonald, and several more. White Rain Productions would like to thank everyone involved including our partners Bright Event Rentals, Got Light, The Balloon Lady, San Francisco Love Tours, and Magic Bus.
